I've been using the hell out of AI these last couple of years.

I even got mom using AI to find answers.

This tech has already revolutionized big chunks of our lives and it's only the beginning.

But, despite the shiny tools, I've still got old school tendencies, especially when it comes to understanding and retaining information.

When I need my brain on full tilt boogie-oogie, I get tactile and work from paper, highlighters, colored pens and notes.

Getting intimate with the material is critical to my ability to learn the content.

AI summaries will tell you what's there; context shows you why it matters.
