LEX-

This week's newsletter was deeply personal.

I touched on getting sober after decades of alcohol and drug abuse, drawing parallels between recovery and how dyslexics can benefit from our own version of "Emotional Rehab" to break free from limiting patterns.

Looking back at those days, it's easily the hardest thing I've had to do in life. And although I don't shout about sobriety from the rooftops, it was a big deal.

I can still remember the ER doc coming back to my bed, picking up my chart and looking at me with legit concern and saying, a lot of people with this long list & large amounts of substances in their system would be on death's door or already through it.

So yeah, it was like that! Phew!

Now I know sober talk isn't for everyone, but Betterment is.

This is partly why I include random connections and create through-lines from seemingly very different topics, whenever I can.

Sure it's for Edu-tain-ment: Education | Entertainment | Empowerment

But also to awaken you to how connected everything is across dyslexics and humanity - the universe even!

There are infinite parallels and many more reasons for us to support each other rather than tear ourselves apart.

So let's not forget why we're here. To make each other better.

Cool?
Cool 😀

Thanks for being part of this platform - it means everything!
