Hey LEX-
So get this… I'm typing these words about Defying Yesterday's Gravity and Future Proofing Tomorrow Today from a time capsule.
You see, even though I'm currently writing this at home in late March, as you read this I'm on the back-end of my trip to Europe from the US.
It's like I'm bending time—writing from yesterday while you're reading in tomorrow.
Kinda cool since we're talking about breaking free from Yesterday's Gravity -am I right or am I right?
Tastes Like Chicken
I mentioned last time how I loved traveling but don't get to do it nearly enough.
And no, I'm not angling to be a travel blogger/vlogger coming to you from a random corner of the world making you watch me eat funky-ass street food while I gasp dramatically, "OMG YOU GUYS! This deep-fried scorpion tastes EXACTLY like chicken but also somehow like burning tires and regret!"
Slide Slide Slippedy Slide Outside Your Comfy Zone
I'm saying it because I've never taken a trip I didn't thoroughly appreciate.
Think about that!
The amount of times I hesitated whether I should take time off, whether my money was good enough for me to jet, or the countless "what if" scenarios you annihilate yourself with when trying to slip outside your comfy zone.
Only to end up saying how much every trip has been educational, relaxing, enlightening or fun as hell!
Keepin’ it 100%
I'm no Mathlete y'all but let's do some quick back of napkin arithmetic!
PXD Action-Hesitation Matrix | The Result |
Every time I travelled | 100% worth it |
Hesitation, stress, questioning | 100% wasted energy |
The times I took the trip | 100% growth |
How I felt about my decision afterwards | 100% glad I went |
DYG’ing - Defying Yesterday’s Gravity
What if you did the same thing?
In part of your life where you've been stuck in Yesterday's Gravity?
Maybe for you it's not about travel—it could be that course you've been meaning to take, the conversation you've been avoiding, or that creative project gathering dust.
Where are you hesitating when your track record shows action always beats staying stuck?
Chrystal Math
After all, they say numbers don’t lie right!
When you do the math on action vs. hesitation, the solution is crystal clear.
LEX, steal my math and hit me up!
I'd love to hear what you find out!
